In recognition of Emergency Nurses Week, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the extraordinary contributions that emergency nurses across Washington make every day to ensure the health and safety of people in our communities. Your expertise and compassion continue to serve as a source of inspiration to everyone around you.
It has been an honor to serve as president of the Emergency Nurses Association Washington Council and to meet so many of you across the state who are dedicated to delivering high-quality care to anyone who walks through your emergency department doors. Every time I go to work or attend a council meeting, I am inspired and re-energized by the emergency nurses around me.
