The Washington State Emergency Nurses Association (WA ENA) is powered by the dedication of our members, and our Membership Committee is at the heart of our growth. The committee’s main role is to assist the state council with membership growth and retention. This is achieved by recruiting new members and increasing member satisfaction, which helps ensure our members renew and continue to support our organization.
The Membership Chairperson and their committee are responsible for a variety of key activities, including:
- Leading the annual Executive Board elections.
- Managing the GA Delegation selection process.
- Setting achievable membership recruitment goals.
- Developing and implementing strategies for recruitment, such as an annual membership campaign.
- Promoting educational, networking, and leadership development opportunities that ENA offers.
- Increasing awareness of membership benefits through various channels, including social media, meetings, and newsletters.
- Conducting member surveys and initiating changes based on member feedback.
The Membership Committee is a vital component of our council, helping to sustain and grow our community of emergency nursing professionals.
